Mimi’s adoption fee has been sponsored by a wonderful supporter of the rescue, Katlin Sprowls. We made the decision to lower our adoption fees for a “Home for the Holidays” special. We wanted to see as many of our animals in their new furrever home with their family, and out of foster care. A few of our supporters came forward and sponsored as many kitties as they could! Katlin is an avid animal lover and would do anything to see any animal the happiest and healthiest it could be. From helping out strays, volunteering and donating, and working with animals as her career- nothing can dim her love for any and all furry friends.
Meet Mimi! Mimi is a roughly 11 month old little girl who came to the rescue from a bad case where 15 cats were going to be left behind as their caretaker had developed dementia and was going into assisted living.
Mimi is a very friendly and loving little girl. She gets along with every person she meets. She has been around dogs, and of course many other cats. She also was raised around kids. She doesn’t mind any handling and will be happy to greet you as soon as you get home. She is quite vocal and very much a little love bug.
Mimi has known a rough life so far, at around 6 months old she became pregnant and had only one kitten (Ziggi) who’s also in the rescue. He is her mini me. She gets along well with almost all other cats’ However, If your cat is a bully she will stand up to them. She won’t let anyone push her around. It’s recommended if you have other cats that you know their demeanor is gentle or passive as she is a very forward leading cat.
Mimi is also very, very playful and loves to gallop around after any toy she can find. She also loves feather wands and spinning ball toys! Mimi will never skip a meal, especially if it involves wet food. Nothing makes her happier and this is quite an easy way to bond with her.
