Simba and Kovu’s adoption fee has been sponsored by Stevie Peterson, she is practically a family member of the rescue. We made the decision to lower our adoption fees for a “Home for the Holidays” special. We wanted to see as many of our animals in their new furrever home with their family, and out of foster care. A few of our supporters came forward and sponsored as many kitties as they could! Stevie is so happy to see any animal she meets, and works every day with many animals who have social issues. She has a special ability to make them as comfortable as they could be and they all adore her. Even in her home life, Stevie cares for animals many people wouldn’t be able to, and does it effortlessly.
Meet Simba and Kovu! They came to us from a bad case of 15 cats about to be left behind when their caretaker developed dementia. These boys are a bonded pair that are brothers! They are 1.5 years old.
Simba (black) is a very loving and playful little guy full of life. He likes to be with his people (loves kids the most) and explores as much as he can. Kovu (grey) is a huge love bug! As much as you try to get done around him you’ll find him rolling around in front of you begging for belly rubs and head scratches.
These boys are very confident around people and animals as they were adjusted to a lot of different scenarios from living outside their entire lives. Now though, they’re completely acclimated indoor couch potatoes. They want to spend the rest of their lives together and with a family to call their own.
Because they were raised around young children, they have a very calm and gentle demeanor. You can pick both up very easily and they'll sit in your arms. When you rub their bellies they very softly kick and play but don't get as rough as other cats will (playfully). They know to keep their nails in and only place their teeth on you and not nibble.
They will surely follow you everywhere you go and make sure you know you’re loved.
Simba and Kovu have had a full vet work up and are ready to meet their new best friends. If you’re interested, submit an inquiry here, or submit an application at www.cassidyscritters.com and someone will be in touch shortly!
