River is a sweet, loving, submissive tri-color Beagle boy. He is young dog, estimated age 6 - 8 months old and tips the scale at 20 lbs but he may put on a bit extra weight as he matures. He is calm for a beagle. River is good with other dogs and loves playtime in the yard. Beagles are known to follow their noses so River needs a securely fenced yard to be safe. Hes still a puppy and he may chew things he shouldn't unless he is directed to chew toys. Training will be required to make River the best canine citizen he can be.<
River is neutered and ready for a new home. He needs a home where someone is at home most of the time because when he feels lonely he will bark to attract attention. He sleeps through the night in a crate if it is placed in the same room as his humans. Again with patience and training this may resolve and things might become different when/if he can be left alone at home without being confined.
