My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Boo, an adult dog with a heart full of love. Her sweetness is as infectious as her friendly demeanor. She`s the kind of dog who`ll greet you with a wagging tail and a joyous bark, her way of saying `hello, friend!`. Boo loves to play, but she`s also content to just sit by your side, offering quiet companionship. She`s smart, too, quickly picking up on commands and eager to please. But what truly sets Boo apart is her spirit. She`s resilient, strong, and despite everything, incredibly trusting. Boo deserves a home where she`ll be cherished, loved, and cared for. If you`re looking for a loyal friend who will love you unconditionally, consider adopting Boo. She`s waiting to fill your life with joy and companionship.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
