My name is Sarge. Don`t let my name or grumpy look fool you, while I may have a gruff exterior , I am a big teddy bear who would be putty in your hands. I grew up on the streets and liked to get in fights and because of that I have something called FIV, but don`t let that scare you, you cannot catch it from me. I`ve realized life is much better off the street and would love to have a nice warm bed or couch or even your lap to snuggle into. I will need a home with no other cats due to my condition, and because I was a fighter, I am a bit of a loner, so would prefer to be your only fur friend. My friends here at the shelter have shown me love and I start purring as soon as they open my kennel and want to jump into their arms for some lovin`. I do like to give some love nibbles when you are petting me, so I would likely do best in a home with big hands, not little bitty ones that taste yummy. If you think you can handle a big strapping love bug like me, please send in your application. I can`t wait to meet you!

If you are still interested in adopting the pet you can meet with one of our Adoption Counsellors who will have you fill out and application and will ask you some questions about the environment in which you live.
