My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mr. Hugo - a sweet, handsome dog with a heart full of love. He's the definition of a gentle soul, always ready to brighten your day with his playful spirit and cuddly nature. Whether he's chasing after his favorite squeaky toy or lounging in the comfiest bed, Mr. Hugo is happiest when he's surrounded by love. His easygoing demeanor and love for snuggles make him the perfect companion for anyone who enjoys playtime, belly rubs, and quiet moments with a loyal friend.

Go meet their pets

We’re so excited that you’re considering adopting from Nashville Humane Association. We’re located at 213 Oceola Ave in West Nashville, near the intersection of White Bridge Road and Charlotte Pike, and are open from 10AM until 5PM TUE through SUN (closed Mondays). We’re also closed every TUE-THUR from 12-1PM for “Quiet Hour.” As a quick heads up, our adoption process takes about an hour, and all adoptions must be finalized on-site at the shelter, so if you’re planning to visit and adopt, be sure to make accommodations for time.
