My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Harlow Rene! This 2-year-old, 70-pound Labradoodle is ready to find her forever family. As a hypoallergenic breed, Harlow is a great match for those with allergies. She came to us as an owner surrender and has proven to be a real sweetheart who craves attention and loves being pet. Harlow is very intelligent and already knows how to sit! She is fully house-trained and is working on her leash manners-she's a bit of a puller but improving with consistent guidance.

Harlow would thrive as the only pet in her home, as she is not dog-friendly. She is also fearful of and reactive toward men, so a female-only household or one with patient individuals willing to help her build confidence around men would be ideal.

This playful and affectionate girl would do best in a home with older kids who can match her energy and provide her with the love and attention she enjoys so much. Harlow is looking for a family who will embrace her quirks and give her the happy, secure life she deserves!

Adoption fee is: $450

ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.

Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.

Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. More about this rescue

CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership. If needed, our rescue dogs are retrained to socialize in an adoptive loving family. We have had phenomenal success, and amazing support from our community. We believe that animals, as living creatures are entitled to a quality life, respect and compassion. Since humans have domesticated animals, we have a moral and ethical responsibility to care for them. We are partnered with many Shelters to help them reach the same goal.
