My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Smokey, a gentle soul who truly deserves a fresh start. This sweet, six-year-old ferret came to Ferret Dreams in mid-October alongside his beloved companion, Goddess. Tragically, Goddess passed away shortly after their arrival, leaving Smokey searching for a new forever home all alone.

Smokey thrives in a serene environment, making him a better match for calm households without young children. We’re unsure of how he might interact with cats or dogs, but what we do know is that he would flourish best as a companion to another senior ferret.

While Smokey has been diagnosed with insulinoma and adrenal disease, both of these conditions are manageable and will be covered by our medical plan for his entire lifetime. Please don't let these treatable issues stand in the way of giving this precious boy the loving home he deserves.

All of our ferrets, including Smokey, have been neutered and descented, and they've received their initial vaccinations for rabies and distemper. However, we cannot guarantee that any further vaccinations have been continued.

For just $125, you can welcome Smokey into your heart and home. This affectionate ferret is eager to fill your days with joy, so consider giving him the loving environment he longs for. Are you the one to change his story?

Our Mile High Ferret Club is an excellent opportunity to interact with the local ferret community. The monthly gatherings encourage ferret owners to bring their healthy and non-aggressive ferrets to play and socialize with others. These events also act as fundraisers to benefit the rescue. More details can be found on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/milehighferretclub.
