My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Otter (4Y) and Possum (3Y) have been at Ferret Dreams since late August. They were transferred from a larger shelter that suggested euthanasia for Otter due to her hair loss, leaving Possum all alone.

These two are a bonded pair that must be adopted together.

The girls are active and friendly with humans and each other, but they do not get along with other ferrets. Their reactions to cats or dogs are unknown.

Possum is in good health. Otter has hair loss due to adrenal disease but is doing well to her new annual hormonal implant. Her fur is growing back in adorable little tufts. This condition is relatively easy to manage and will be covered by our medical plan for the ferret's lifetime. Please don’t let this treatable condition prevent them from finding their forever home.

All of our ferrets have been neutered (spayed / castrated) and descented. They are both current on their rabies vaccinations. They have received their vaccinations for distemper as babies but we cannot guarantee any additional vaccinations have been continued.

The total adoption fee for both Otter and Possum is $500.

Go meet their pets

Our Mile High Ferret Club is an excellent opportunity to interact with the local ferret community. The monthly gatherings encourage ferret owners to bring their healthy and non-aggressive ferrets to play and socialize with others. These events also act as fundraisers to benefit the rescue. More details can be found on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/milehighferretclub.
