Meet Heather, the sweetest little wiggle-butt you'll ever meet! This girl's got the cutest bobtail that dances with joy every time she sees a friend (and trust us, that's everyone she meets!). When Heather wags, she doesn't just wag-she wiggles. From her tiny tail to her adorable nose, her whole body gets in on the fun! With those bright blue eyes, she's got a way of melting hearts and charming anyone who stops by to say hello. She's great with her doggie roommates, making friends wherever she goes, and she's even doggie door trained! Heather's ready to find her forever home where she can keep on wiggling, wagging, and showing off her pro-level door skills.

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
