Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Buttercup was brought to a city shelter as a “stray” but the person brought in a couple of dogs and they were all the same breed, had clearly been bred multiple times and all had some health issues. We and the city shelter believe that it was breeder that dumped them when they were done with them.
Buttercup has some typical bulldog issues, she has dry eye in both eyes so she needs her eyes rinsed and ointment daily. She did have entropion in both eyes and an elongated esophagus but that was repaired. She can get a little itchy if you give her the wrong treats or food but nothing serious.
She is extremely loving, attentive and gentle with her foster dad.
She does not like to listen to her foster mom. She looks at her and then goes about doing what she wants. Different rules for different people. Haha!
She is crate trained, good on leash and good with other animals. She would also be fine as an only pet.
LOVES car rides.
Goes insane for squeaky toys - she does not know how to share toys.
