Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This amazing boy is ready to find a home to call his own - Stitch - we had a foster open and I posted some of the dogs in need at one of our favorite shelters Transylvania County Animal Services and Kara and Bryce thought Stitch would fit right in as a foster and boy did he ever - this dog is simply amazing - he came to one of our events before Helene and he was perfect. Very well mannered and just a sweet boy to every person and animal that came to greet him
Stitch is estimated to be 2-3 years old - and he is a petite little guy at 40 pounds - we have no idea his breed - he acts like he has some boxer down in there somewhere but he is a certified loveable mutt and those are the absolute best
Here is what his amazing foster Mom, Kara, had to say about him - Stitch is the sweetest and happiest boy you will ever meet. He is house broken and crate trained. He rides great in a car. Stitch would do best in a moderately active to highly active home as he does have a lot of energy. He would also love to have a playmate as he is very playful and loves pretty much any dog he comes across. He absolutely loves toys . He has been great with kids but keep in mind he does get bursts of energy and zoomies so there is always the potential that he could knock smaller kids down. He loves to snuggle and does not mind taking up the whole bed Stitch is a super smart boy and a quick learner.
Stitch was dumped in the National Forest here locally - no idea why as he is darn near perfect - so now it is our job to find him a family that will cherish him forever - just as he deserves.
Stitch is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, has had a fecal, 4DX Heartworm test (negative) , a full bloodwork panel done, dewormed and is current on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention. His adoption fee is $250.00
You can find our adoption application on our website www.boxerbuttsandothermutts.org We do not set up any meet and greets until the application has been received and reviewed and then we will call you. As a reminder we do not have a facility - all of our dogs are in private foster homes throughout Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina.
Lets find this boy a home and a last name - he sure does deserve it

More about this rescue
We are located in Western North Carolina. We do adopt out of the area with transport, although, certain dogs have to be adopted locally, and that is always stated in the description. If you adopt a puppy out of our area or choose to use a different vet, we have an application amendment to be filled out as well for the spay/neuter & vaccine contract.
