My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chrissy and her two sisters were brought to PAWS after a kind couple found them in their yard. Chrissy was adopted and brought back as she was too energetic for the child in the home. She is estimated to have been born around the first of June, 2024. Chrissy is a beautiful girl who is sweet and playful. She is a puppy and very playful so please keep that in mind if you have children or grandchildren in the home.
We are unsure of her breed but guessing Border Collie/Great Pyrenees. We were told that the mom was about 40 lbs and "fluffy" and dad was slick haired and about 50 lbs. If you are looking for a medium to large dog, Chrissy would love to be your girl! Please go to pawspaws.org to complete the PAWS application. Once the application is approved, we will contact you to set up meet and greet. Her adoption fee is $250. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on all vaccines including a rabies shot and is on Heartworm preventative.

Additional adoption info

Dogs: The adoption fees for PAWS puppies and dogs start at $200. Occasionally, the adoption fee will be higher and, if that is the case, it will be noted on the animal's profile. When you adopt your new dog or puppy, it will be spayed or neutered, wormed, micro-chipped, and up to date on routine shots. If it is six months or older, it will have been tested for heartworms and placed on a heartworm preventative.

Cats: The adoption fee for most PAWS kittens and cats is $75. When you adopt your new cat or kitten, it will be spayed or neutered, wormed, micro-chipped, and up to date on its shots, with the exception of its rabies shot, which must be given by a vet. IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO ADOPT A CAT OR KITTEN, BE SURE TO BRING A CARRIER OR PET TAXI WITH YOU. WE CANNOT SEND A CAT/KITTEN HOME UNLESS IT IS IN A CARRIER/PET TAXI.

We certainly recommend that you continue your pet's routine vaccination regimen with your veterinarian.

SAME DAY ADOPTIONS ARE NOT ALWAYS POSSIBLE, SO IF YOU ARE DRIVING FROM A DISTANCE, PLEASE MAKE ADVANCE ARRANGEMENTS.

IF YOU RENT, YOU MUST BRING A SIGNED RENTAL AGREEMENT FROM YOUR LANDLORD STATING THAT IT IS OKAY FOR YOU TO HAVE AN ANIMAL IN THE HOUSE. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A RENTAL AGREEMENT, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TAKE THE COMPANION ANIMAL OF YOUR CHOICE HOME WITH YOU.

OUT OF STATE ADOPTERS ARE ASKED TO PAY THE ADOPTION FEE IN CASH.

PAWS IS NOW EQUIPPED TO TAKE CREDIT CARDS.

If you are interested in adopting, please e-mail Kareel at pawsplace1@yahoo.com, and she will get back to you as soon as possible. If you live in the area, please come see us!! If not, please keep us in your thoughts. We need monetary donations badly in order to keep this wonderful operation going, so, if you are able, please send whatever you can. At the present time, PAWS Place is full of kitty grins and doggy smiles. Please help us keep it that way!!
