If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Meet Tui! she doesn't sing as pretty as the New Zealand bird, but she sure is just as pretty! Tūī is a fast learning, affection seeking 6 month old pup. We have had her since she was 8 weeks old. Tūī is crate trained at night and when Im not home. 100% potty trained, waits patiently for food. knows sit, stay, shake, down, spin, touch, bed, heel (needs work with loose leash walking). she loves sniffle mats, puzzle feeding trays, her basket of toys, and snuggling of course! Tūī can be a little too cat friendly, but is starting to calm down. Cats would need to be confident telling her they can't be playmates. Tūī is still learning impulse control and that she can't force her 35lbs of love all over a small child. she will be great with kids after she can control her puppy excitement. Tūī LOVES training sessions. She will do best in a home that will take the time to continue giving her structure, especially during play time, as she transitions through her puppy/adolescent stage.
