My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You’ll quickly fall in love with this one-eyed cutie! Suzy is a sweet, silly, playful girl looking for her forever home! She can take a little bit to warm up to people, but once she builds trust with you she is your shadow and best pal. She follows her foster parents from room to room, and gives a loving boop of her nose so they know she’s right behind them. She loves giving kisses too :) she needs someone who is patient and willing to work for her trust!

She is great with dogs, and would love a home with a companion! While Suzy has lived with kids in the past, she would prefer a home that does not have young children as her energy can be a bit much for them (and vice versa!).

She is great on a leash, and enjoys walks with you! She may pull from excitement of seeing another dog, but is learning how to manage her excitement better to make walks more enjoyable for everyone.

She is crate trained- she’s learning the command “go to your crate” and will sometimes even put herself in there for naps. She sleeps through the night without a peep!

Suzy is housetrained and thrives with routine and consistency! She would love a fenced-in yard to run and play in but could also do well without one if she receives routine walks to help wear her out.

If you are interested in meeting the happiest girl in the world, please complete an application on our website.

***Please Note: All the available dogs listed on our website are getting spoiled in private foster homes. If someone has caught your eye and you wish to arrange a meet and greet, we do need you to fill out the adoption application. When your adoption application is received our screening team will verify the information given. Once your application has been confirmed and approved, we will be send it over to the foster parent for review to determine if your home is a good match for the dog. In the event one lucky dog receives multiple applications, please know we do not select based on a first come basis. We try our best to select the best-fit for our animals and families. ***
