Randall is a 2-year-old Dachshund weighing in at 12.5 pounds, ready to find his forever home after a life spent in breeding. This sweet boy is still learning about the world, so he can be a bit skittish and isn’t very socialized yet. He enjoys gentle pets but prefers to approach on his own terms, so patience is key!
While Randall is somewhat potty trained and uses a pet door, he may have the occasional accident as he adjusts to his new environment. He needs a special person who can offer lots of time and understanding as he learns to trust. A quiet home with a fenced yard would be ideal, and he would thrive best in a calm environment without small children.
Randall is a gentle and submissive pup who has shown no signs of aggression. Although he may take some time to come out of his shell, we believe he’ll blossom into a wonderful companion. He gets along well with other dogs and is up to date on his shots, microchipped, and neutered—ready to find his new best friend!
If you're interested in helping Randall on his journey, we’re also seeking a foster home for him. His adoption fee is $275.
Please apply to foster or adopt at www.misfitsdogrescue.org. Let’s give Randall the loving home he deserves!
