Meet Mia! Mia is a sweet girl who loves to be loved on. This girl takes a little bit to earn her trust and open up, but once you do, she is the absolute sweetest girl ever. She loves being petted. She’ll actually sit and call for you to come sit with her and pet her while she fires up her very loud purr motor. If you let her, she’d sit in a snuggly blanket in bed with you and be petted all day. She’s not a fan of being picked up, but a lot of cats don’t care for that. Hands can sometimes make her a little nervous. This adorable girl is for the cat person who has a quiet lifestyle with no children and wants a chill kitty to sit and pet. Her one toy she cannot be without is her beloved stuffed rat, which she carries with her everywhere. Be prepared to find her toy in random places, including your bed! She can be a very silly girl! Her toy is like her security blanket, and she always knows where it is and will carry it around in her mouth like a kitten and ‘talk’ to it. She loves other kitties and would do well with a calm older cat to be her friend. She eats well and loves temptations treats. She also uses the litter box perfectly, without any problems. Once you develop a bond with sweet Mia, it’s all love and snuggles. Adopt this sweet girl today!

Puppy Kitty NYC was founded in the Fall of 2014. As of July 2018, we are an official 501(c)(3) organization. We focus on three aspects: First, finding homes for abandoned or friendly street cats and kittens. Secondly, attempting to control animal overpopulation by spaying and neutering feral cats and helping the sick and injured. Thirdly, fostering is a must.
