My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*** Skipper & Schooner are in a foster home ***

Skipper: solid black, short hair, neutered male, born approx. 7/1/24, #19405
Schooner: solid black, short hair, neutered male, born approx. 7/1/24, #19406

Cats: **BONDED PAIR** & like
Dogs: likely okay
Children: great!

BACKGROUND: A five-kitty crew was rescued from a tree near the National City Marina. Three mariners have already been adopted… Skipper and Schooner know the tide will turn for them, too!

PERSONALITY: Meet your trusty crew of maritime kitties!
--- Skipper is a chill little dude who likes to go with the flow. He’d be thrilled to play a game, especially with wand toys. He’ll leap high in the air to catch his “prey.” However, he’d be equally happy to kick back and snuggle on the couch. A sure way to Skipper’s heart is through a tasty meal. This guy loves to eat!
--- Schooner is the leader of the pack! A confident lad, he’s the first to greet visitors and has no qualms being carried around. One of his favorite lounging spots is on your shoulders. He approaches new cats with good-will and curiosity. Schooner likes to play hard and cuddle just as hard! As he nestles in your lap, Schooner can become so comfortable that he’ll fall into a blissful trance and start suckling on your shirt. What a sweet fur baby!
--- Shipmates for life, Skipper and Schooner are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.

COMPATIBILITY: This duo gets along with other felines. Given their personalities, we believe Skipper and Schooner would likely adjust to a polite canine. They do great with children!

Ahoy! Our seafaring adventurers are ready to drop anchor in their forever homes! Could you be one of the lucky ones to welcome them?
