My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Frankie is a handsome Pointer who was found as a stray. We cannot believe his owners never came to claim him. Frankie is an almost 80-pound pointer. He is an active dog and could play all day, he absolutely loves people but can be a little overbearing because of his size and energy. The biggest dogs always think that they are lap dogs! 🐶 Frankie does not get along with small animals, including small dogs or cats. And he would do best in a home with children over the age of 12 because he does jump. He is a pointer so he is always catching the scent of something and would find a way to get to it. He is definitely an escape artist and that is how he came to us. Frankie loves to go on adventures and walks. He loves playing in the yard with toys. Overall, Frankie is such a sweet boy with some quirks, but that doesn’t mean that he will never find a home suitable for him.To apply for this animal please go to our website, www.catskillanimalrescue.com and complete an application.

All adoptions include spay/neuter, 1st Distemper shot, all animals over 3 months will have current rabies shot. Dogs will be microchipped.

Under normal circumstances, we welcome visitors during our normal business hours. However, because of the COVID pandemic, we require an appointment to visit or to meet our pets. An approved application submitted on our website is required at this time before an appointment will be made.
