My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BooBoo and Robin have had a tough time. These senior boys came to Cameron Animal Rescue after their long-time owner passed away and they were surrendered to the city shelter. They struggled at the shelter, shell-shocked from the sudden, huge, change in their lives. Fortunately the shelter staff reached out and arranged to transfer them to CAH. Since at Cameron Animal Rescue they have received much-needed medical care, including dentistries., and over time they have begun to relax and show their true sweet personalities. They are now ready to find their final forever home.
BooBoo is the senior of the pair at an estimated 17 years old. He is the braver of the two, and loves attention and petting. He is the first to make himself comfortable and seek attention. He is a calm boy who loves to cuddle- either with a person or with Robin. He had several extractions with his dentistry, and often sticks his tongue out. He is thin due to stress and age, but is starting to each much better. He is otherwise completely healthy.
BooBoo and Robin have both been FeLV/FIV tested and are negative; they have received their full series of FVRCP (feline distmper) and Rabies vaccines; they have been fecal tested and prohpylactically dewormed; they have been tested for feline bartonella; they have had fulll bloodwork, which was all normal.
BooBoo and Robin are bonded and have rellied on one another through all of the transitions in their lives; they must be adopted together. BooBoo isn't easily scared, but Robin is scared of loud or sudden noises. Therefore a family with young children or young pets would not be a good fit. They would thrive in a quiet home with a patient family who gives them the time they need to settle in.

More about this rescue

Cameron Animal Hospital has been located on Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair, New Jersey, since 1936. The family-owned hospital is the first purposfully built animal hospital in the state of NJ, and provides veterinary services to cats, dogs, and other small animals, including rabbits, rats, ferrets, and more.

Cameron Animal Hospital is not a shelter, but works extensively with the rescue community in Essex County by providing veterinary care to local shelters, and finding homes to a variety of animals (cats, dogs, and small animals) who have come into our care.
