My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Momo is super affectionate, and we all fell in love with this handsome boy.
Momo has symblepharon in both eyes - this means the conjunctiva has adhered to the corneas. The left eye is less affected than the right eye.
These are old lesions, nothing active and nothing to treat at this time. Vision appears to be present in both eyes, but it's mildly affected in the left
eye and more significantly affected in the right eye. Surgery is an option, but since he's comfortable and can see, surgery may not be the best
option for him anyway as the surgery is not always 100% effective.

More about this rescue

Siglinda Scarpa is a potter and a sculpter who owns 3 acres of fenced-in property in which she houses up to 258 homeless cats. The Refuge is a sanctuary for these cats, who never have to leave, but if they are adoptable, the cats are posted on our website and taken to adoption events in the community. The more cats that we find homes for, the more cats we can rescue.
