Meet Mr Puggles!
Mr. Puggles is, as you likely have guessed, a mix of 2 fantastic breeds: pug & beagle, known for their sociability, fun personalities, joy of life & love for humans. Puggles are the best of both breeds, fewer breathing issues than pugs, less howling & less of a prey drive than a beagle. In Mr. Puggles' case, he has zero prey drive, getting along well with both dogs and cats. His best bud is a female more than twice his size! He is 1 year old. He came to God's Dogs Rescue as a stray who had been hit by a car, resulting in a broken hind leg. The leg is healing. Although he currently walks with a gimp, that doesn't slow Mr. Puggles down. He runs, jumps, and plays with the rest of his foster mom's dogs.
Do you have room for this adorable "grumpy face in your home and heart?
Attributes:
Getting used to a leash
Very playful and loving
Healing L femur fracture
Loves children and adults, great family pet
Food motivated
Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)
Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Additional adoption info
Adoption application required.
Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..
If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.

We are a TEXAS based rescue who transport regularly to this area. Our dogs are in TEXAS and will be transported to you if you adopt from us.
Our pets are posted on our website, and most live in homes with their fosters. We live with our foster dogs to get to know them in a home setting and to let them know that life can be good away from the streets.
We work to correct poor behaviors, teach manners and observe each dogs particular quirks and personalities so we can give accurate observations of the dogs you are interested in.
We know that dogs will sometimes behave differently with different people but we can give you our impressions of our pups and situations they have been in.
