Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Chewy Anchovy was surrendered to Baldwin Park Animal Care Center for unknown reasons, but given his condition, it was a blessing in disguise. When he examined at the shelter, this poor pup had old rib fractures, skin irritation due to fleas, discharge from his eyes, and dental disease. We rescued him on October 25th to become a Frosted Face. Chewy is 15 years old and weighs 24 lbs.
Chewy is currently on a two-week Frosted Fling, and we are so glad he is getting lots of TLC in the comforts of a home. His Fling Mom reports:
"I am thrilled to share my initial experiences with Chewy, who has been with me for five days.
Chewy is very well-mannered, calm, and affectionate and loving towards everyone he encounters. He has settled right into our routine at home. He sleeps soundly through the night, waking on his own around 8:30 am, although he readily adapts to earlier wake-up times for potty breaks.
Chewy thoroughly enjoys our evening strolls and loves to sniff & explore. When I gave him a bath, he was very relaxed and even dozed off! Chewy doesn't exhibit any separation anxiety when home alone
Chewy's appearance and cuddly nature makes him resemble a teddy bear! He interacts exceptionally well with people of all ages and sizes as well as other dogs."
