Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Ozzy Egg Roll was surrendered to Baldwin Park Animal Care Center for unknown reasons. We scooped him up to become a Frosted Face on October 25th. Ozzy is 11 years old and weighs 20 lbs. He LOVES to play fetch (see video) and is a great walker with pep in his step!
Ozzy is currently on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we can learn what he is like in a home. His Fling Mom reports:
"1. What a good boy Ozzy is! He such a sweet pup - happy to chill on the couch or a dog bed while the people do things around the house. Ozzy will come jump in a lap as soon as one is available!
2. We have not heard Ozzy bark. He whines when he wants something (food, potty).
3. He is great with our smallish (Ozzy's size) and larger (45lbs. ) dogs. He "plays with our smaller dog - they jump around each other in circles or chase from one couch to the other, back & forth, up & down.
4. Ozzy loves food. He chows down on plain kibble and takes his (2x/day) med no problem.
5. He enjoys walks and is picking up walking on a leash fairly quickly.
6. Ozzy is a runner, and any chance he sees, he will go for it. His future family will need to be extremely cautious near doors and in the car.
7. He sleeps in a crate through the night and does well for 8 hrs. It gives our cats some time to have the run of the house. Ozzy probably wouldn't really DO anything to a cat but loves to chase them (I think he's simply never lived with one before).
8. He doesn't seem to know his FFF name (Ozzy), so his new family will have the opportunity to make him their own!
Whoever adopts this spry love bug will be very very lucky!"
