My name is Houdini!

I found Houdini a few months ago running along the highway. I could tell that he had been neglected and abused. He was afraid of the car, the leash, and the house, but he learned to love all of those things really fast! In fact, he has learned the command stop. He is also learning the commands leave it, sit, and shake.

He is a great dog with a lot of personality, but he can be stubborn. In the house, he is very calm, but outside he loves to run and play! He is learning to chase the ball, too. I can tell that he wants to be a hunting dog. Maybe he was, I don't know.

Houdini would be great in an active household or in a house with a big yard so he can run and play. He is great with other dogs, but not with cats or other small animals. I am rehoming him because of my cat and finances. He has heartworms and I cannot afford the treatment.
