This beautiful black lab mix is Violet! She was found with her bestie/sibling, Sequoia, on 10/19, and no one has come to reclaim them. They're now hoping for a new, forever home soon because they're both shy and overwhelmed in the loud shelter environment. The volunteers describe Violet as friendly and adorable. She does know how to sit very nicely when asked! If you have a soft spot for the shy kids, please come meet Violet!
Violet is approximately 1 year old, and she weighs 43 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines, and she will be spayed, microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Violet is waiting patiently in run 850; her ID # is 662732.

Cobb County Animal Services was established in 1971. As part of Cobb's Department of Public Safety, we serve the entire county, protecting the residents and animals of Cobb.
The mission of the Cobb County Animal Services Unit is to enforce state laws and county ordinances pertaining to animal control and management; educate the community on responsible pet ownership and wildlife care and provide housing and care for homeless animals, while coordinating their adoptions when possible and humane euthanization when adoptions are not possible.
