Meet Freddy, a charming 5-year-old gentleman who`s been observed to have a dainty and gentle play style. From our volunteer observations, Freddy seems to greet others with kindness and enjoys socializing with his canine companions. He`s been noted to prefer hand-fed treats and may need some leash training, as he`s shown a tendency to pull while walking. In playgroup, Freddy has been seen mingling well with other gentle dogs, making him a potentially great fit for a calm household. Come meet Freddy today!

Freddy is at risk for euthanasia due to the current shelter capacity. Currently the shelter is above capacity to adequately house and care for animals. Freddy has shown some fearful behavior in shelter and would benefit from individualized attention with a foster, adopter or rescue partner.

Come visit us and meet our wonderful adoptable pets! All adoptions are first come, first serve. All pets in the shelter must be adopted in person at 1818 North Westmoreland Road.

You must be 18 years-old to adopt a pet.

When picking up your new pet, please bring your driver’s license or other government-issued photo ID.
