Meet Mocha 2!

Mocha 2 is a very sweet, declawed, beautiful tortoiseshell cat that loves humans. She and her sister Latte 2 had to be surrendered through no fault of their own, because of human allergies in their family. They are a bonded pair that have never been apart, so we would like to find them a home together.

Mocha 2 is a little shy at first, but if you have a crunchy treat and a soft hand for petting, she’ll be your best friend soon enough! She has an adorable soft trill in her meow when she wants love, and her purr is the best!

Mocha 2 is spayed, microchipped, up to date on her vaccinations, front-declawed, and tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV.

We welcome interested adopters to visit with various adoptable pets 10am - 4pm Tuesday through Saturday at 3881 S Tripp Rd, Osseo, MI. No appointment is necessary.

Please allow at least an hour for the adoption process.

There are exceptions, but typically adoptions are the same day.

We know our pet photos are adorable, but it's best to select your companion based on their personality and compatibility with your family and lifestyle. It is important to that you bring any children with you to meet potential pets. We also recommend that all family members be present for an adoption. Spending quality time with any potential pet is key. This will help ensure that your potential pet is the best possible fit for everyone in the family. We welcome all adopters, from any county or state.

We prefer if you complete an application prior to meeting the animals so we can help you make a great match.

This is accomplished through education, quality and compassionate care of the animals received at the shelter, and community outreach. GHHS obtains funding through donations, fees for services, and fundraisers.
