My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

**If you are interested in being considered for this dog, please be sure to complete an application directly on our website - not through a 3rd party service.*

This is the face of our happy girl Zola.  The name “Zola” means peaceful and grounded, and this lowrider girl fits the bill.

Zola is an approximately 2 year old, 55lb, spayed bulldog mix.  She is housebroken, crate trained, and good with other dogs, cats and kids.

We don't know too much about how this lovely lady ended up needing rescue, but boy is she loving the home life.  She can be shy at first meeting, but once she is warmed up to you, you are her best friend and she is ready to do all the things best friends do.  Walks, hanging out on the couch, netflix, cruising the web, just about anything to hang out with you!  Her foster mother says she is a playful, easy going and happy girl.  A yard is not a must for this lady, but she would love one, or an adopter who will make sure she gets the proper exercise and socialization on a daily basis.  If you are looking for a friend to laugh with every single day, Zola might be the girl for you!

Zola’s adoption fee is $350 and includes her completed wellness visit, microchip and age appropriate vaccinations.

Go meet their pets

Our rescue is foster based, therefore you will need to make an appointment to visit with any of our animals that are available for adoption.
Most of our adoptable animals come from high kill shelters. Occasionally we are given specific breed information on the animals, but more often, we have to make an educated guess as to breed or mixture based on size, color and physical characteristics.
