My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

**If you are interested in being considered for this dog, please be sure to complete an application directly on our website - not through a 3rd party service.*

Welcome beautiful Liz!  Liz is an approximately 1.5 year old, spayed, shepherd/ terrier mix (We do not DNA test)

Little is known about this sweet girl's backstory, and we can only imagine what the first year of her life was like.  Liz came into our rescue from Alabama and is now learning that having humans around is kinda cool.

Liz is a calm, quiet girl who is discovering all the best things that life has to offer.  She can be shy and timid upon first meeting, and after a few days in her foster home, has begun to follow the humans around and check things out.  She plays with her toys, and enjoys sometimes just taking a nice nap in her crate, where she feels safe.  Liz would love a patient adopter who will help her feel safe and secure while introducing her slowly, to all of the great things!  She would also benefit from continued training for confidence and social skills.

Liz is housebroken and crate trained, good on a leash and likes to ride in the car.  While Liz would love a fenced in yard, it is not a requirement as long as she gets proper exercise and stimulation daily.  Liz has not yet met kids, but we suspect she would do better with older kids, who understand giving her space and letting her blossom.  Liz has alot of love to give and deserves a great family to enjoy her life with.

Liz’s Adoption fee is $400 (includes completed wellness exam, age appropriate vaccinations and microchip)

Go meet their pets

Our rescue is foster based, therefore you will need to make an appointment to visit with any of our animals that are available for adoption.
Most of our adoptable animals come from high kill shelters. Occasionally we are given specific breed information on the animals, but more often, we have to make an educated guess as to breed or mixture based on size, color and physical characteristics.
