Dylan is a male 1.5 year old Lab mix, who has a personality as bright as his shiny coat! Dylan is initially a bit shy when meeting new people, but he warms up quickly because he loves being with people. He enjoys receiving affection, and has an endearing way of rewarding his humans with those big, adoring looks that can melt your heart. Dylan is a quick learner, and has already mastered walking nicely on a leash and the classic “Sit” command. Whether you’re out for a leisurely stroll, a brisk walk, or a jog, Dylan’s moderate energy level makes him the ideal walking buddy. He’s happy to match your pace, making every outing enjoyable. Social and friendly, Dylan gets along well with other dogs and has done well in doggie play groups. [Note that a Meet n Greet is always suggested if other dogs live in the household] He also seems ok with cats, since he doesn’t react to the feral cats. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.

The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
