My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet Princess!!
Princess is a 3½-year-old English Mastiff who has faced more challenges in her short life than anyone should have to endure. At just 15 months old, her previous owner found her on Craigslist, and Princess hoped that this would be the start of her happily ever after. Sadly, that wasn’t the case. She spent over 10 hours a day in a space that was far too small, leading to muscle atrophy and heartbreak. The owner was planning to euthanize her. However, her story took a turn for the better when AZ Mastiff Rescue stepped in to offer her the love and care she so desperately deserves.

Princess is truly embracing her newfound freedom, and it’s heartwarming to see her so happy. She now has the ability to take bathroom breaks on her own terms, stretch out with her beloved ball, and follow her humans around instead of being left behind in a crate. Unfortunately, this stop in her journey is only temporary and we are searching for her Happy Ending Family.

She is up to date on her vaccinations, spayed, and her ears and teeth are in great shape. While she does have a little tummy, we’re optimistic that with exercise, she’ll gain strength and achieve a sleek figure in no time. It’s exciting to think about her journey ahead!

She demonstrates a fascination with smaller creatures and is on a journey of self-discovery regarding her size. Her ideal home would be with older children and no small pets. Princess is eager to learn and is impressively smart; she mastered sit and down in just 24 hours! The possibilities are endless!

Will you be the storybook ending this Princess deserves?

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The first step in the adoption process is to have an application filled out so we can better help match a dog to a home and family. You can fill out the application on our website at www.azmastiffrescue.com
The second step is to do a phone interview or email so we can discuss our dogs and what type of home they would do best in.
The third step is to have the adopter meet our dogs and adopt after a home visit is done.

Please Go To www.AZMASTIFFRESCUE.COM to fillout the adoption application so a volunteer can call you.

Our Mission Statement

Canine Rescue Coalition, Inc. d.b.a AZ Mastiff Rescue is dedicated to Neapolitan Mastiffs and English Mastiffs and other Mastiff breeds. We are dedicated to restoring the mastiffs to good health, and finding them loving, permanent homes. We encourage community involvement, which includes raising funds to support our cause, and educating on the rewards of responsible pet ownership, and the importance of spaying and neutering. We want to implement an outreach program targeting children, the next generation. We hope to instill our firm belief that companion animals play an immeasurable role in the betterment of our lives. In order to achieve these goals, we believe that collaboration with other organizations will help us meet our mission.

We are a small rescue that focuses on the Neapolitan and English Mastiff. Most of our dogs are in foster homes in Az. We are always looking for foster homes and people who can help with home visits as well.We have rescued mastiffs for about 10 plus yrs now and enjoy helping them get into forever loving homes.
