My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! I'm Molcajete. Nice to meet you! I'm a sweet beagle girl that's ready for her forever home! I was previously used for hunting and then dumped in a rural area with 13 other beagles... when Beagle Freedom Project heard my story, they knew they had to help me! I'm still adjusting to my new life, but I'm gaining more and more confidence every day. I'm a darling girl that will win you ever by being the most loyal companion in the world. Won't you consider adopting me?

My location: MONROE, NJ

*Please note that third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal. My correct and current location is the one listed directly above!*

If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an adoption application at https://bfp.org/adopt/

Please email the Beagle Freedom Project Team with questions at: adopt@bfp.org.

Additional adoption info

ABOUT OUR ADOPTION PROCESS: Standardly, Beagle Freedom Project does not facilitate animal meet and greets. Instead, we begin all BFP adoptions with a trial-period; this is called ‘fostering-to-adopt’. At BFP, we believe that the best way for an adopter to be certain that an animal is their perfect match is by giving them an opportunity to truly know each other before finalizing an adoption. As BFP animals come from such traumatic pasts, they can often be shy upon a first meeting. Foster-to-adopt trials allow these special animals an opportunity to decompress and show their authentic personality before an official adoption decision is made.
