Comanche also arrived as a breeder release and will require extra 'patience' and time to realize his life is about to get a whole lot better!
He is a typical Yorkie boy born 11/20/2023 so just about 1 year old and weighing approximately 12lbs. He is timid/skittish and will require someone to allow him to come to them on his terms. House training is in progress and he loves his crate as it is his 'safe space'.
He lights up and is more outgoing/brave with another dog in the home, so a companion for him to buddy with and to learn the ropes of dog life will be required. Also, b ecause of his lack of experience with walking on a leash and being a potential flight risk, a fenced yard will be required for his safety.
He has not been around small children, so kids in the home will need to be 8+ years old and have the ability to understand that he will need extra time and space as he adjusts and that fast movements and loud noises startle him.
We recommend obedience training for all pups and dogs!
**Breed or size (once fully grown) is a 'best guess' and is not guaranteed since they arrived into rescue without either parent.
**Magnificent Mutts is an all foster home based rescue and meets are held by appointment with the entire family in attendance. Please ensure your current pets are up to date with vetting, have landlord/HOA approval and are prepared to take your new family member home at the adoption appointment. Thank you for your interest!
If you are interested in adoption, please complete the "Application to Adopt" which can be accessed from this link: ( www.magnificentmutts.org ) No phone calls please, emails only.
