SWEET AND FRIENDLY BOY IS SLOW TO BE CONFIDENT IN NEW PLACES, BUT ADORES PEOPLE. NEEDS A QUIETER HOME WITH LOVING AND PATIENT PEOPLE TO COAX HIM FROM UNDER HIS BLANKET WITH PETTING AND PLAY. GENTLE KIDS WILL BE FINE. GOOD WITH FRIENDLY, GENTLE CATS. DEFINITELY NO BULLY CATS! NO DOGS. I`m a very handsome and beautifully colored kitty with a personality that`s hard to resist once you meet me. When no one`s around, I spend my time under my blankets or in a covered area, and sometimes play or lay with my toys under my chest. When you lift the blanket to see me, or even just call my name, I come out to see you and right over so you`ll come to pet me! Friendly people make everything better! I like to show off and be irresistibly cute. I`m very soft and extremely gentle and sweet. I adore having people love on me and I`m a great cuddler when you hold me. I`m a cuddly lap cat too! When I get home, I will be much more comfortable in a large covered bed, teepee, pop-up house, or even a sideways box with a blanket. As I start getting comfortable, add a soft regular bed and squishy blankets on the furniture to come sit with you, and make biscuits on too! I like having little toys, and electronic toys that move on a track or under fabric fascinate me. Play time with you and our wand toys will teach be brave and have fun in my new home, and with my wonderful new people! I`m very laid back and lovable, but I`m still a youngster. Once I am not afraid anymore, I will probably start playing more and enjoy having a cat tree! I only need a little bit to be buddies to other friendly nice cats. Having cat buddies can even help me be more brave and fun! I love treats, so they are one more way to win me over, but just knowing that you love me is what I`m really craving! I will be very happy getting to love my new family!

The Colony Animal Services strives to protect andTCAS LOGO-UPDATED nurture The City of The Colony’s lost, homeless, abused, injured, and sick pets. We seek to provide animals the opportunity to be reclaimed, adopted, rehabilitated, or rescued. It is the mission for the Animal Service Officers and volunteers to pursue a positive synergy and to serve the citizens and pets of The Colony.
Animal Services is committed to saving each and every animal that comes into our care. Over the last few years, we have improved our live release rate to 97%. We hold our standards high at keeping this percentage, and in doing so, we ask our rescue partners and citizens to help us pursue finding our animals forever homes.
Every year, we get over a hundred injured and sick animals that need our help. In order for us to help them, we use our donated medical fund to give them the proper care and treatment they need. The only way for us to provide this needed medical care is through our generous financial donors. Every penny donated is sent to our medical fund. Please help us continue this much needed medical care for our animals by donating. Even if you cannot donate, it is a huge help to share posts on social media.
