Pocahontas came to Mag Mutts as a breeder release and will require some extra 'patience' and time to realize that a soft bed in a home with a family is a wonderful thing!
She is a tiny little girl, born 4/5/2024 making her about 6 months old and weighing about 8lbs. She is a little shy at first, but warms up and loves attention. She is good with other dogs, loves to sleep in her crate, and house training is in progress. Because of her lack of experience with walking on a leash, a fenced yard would be preferred for her safety.
She has not been around small children, so kids in the home should be 6+ years old and have the ability to understand that she will need extra time to warm up and that fast movements and loud noises may startle her.
We recommend obedience training for all pups and dogs!
**Breed or size (once fully grown) is a 'best guess' and is not guaranteed since they arrived into rescue without either parent.
**Magnificent Mutts is an all foster home based rescue and meets are held by appointment with the entire family in attendance. Please ensure your current pets are up to date with vetting, have landlord/HOA approval and are prepared to take your new family member home at the adoption appointment. Thank you for your interest!
If you are interested in adoption, please complete the "Application to Adopt" which can be accessed from this link: ( www.magnificentmutts.org ) No phone calls please, emails only.
