My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tiki came to Little Buddies all the way from West Virginia, where she was living outside of a restaurant. Someone took notice & was able to get her to us. Upon arrival, we noticed she wasn't eating well, nor properly using one of her back legs. Little Buddies got her to a vet where it was determined she had injured her hip. She required a femoral head ostectomy (FHO) surgery to repair her hip/leg. She was an exceptional patient and with the support of her wonderful foster, her surgery was completely successful, and she made a full recovery! Tiki is super affectionate and LOVES to climb in your lap for a snuggle if you're sitting near her. Tiki has a beautiful, soft coat & has gotten along with the other kitties & cat respectful dog in her foster home. At 5 months old, Tiki is an extra sweet girl who deserves to find a wonderful forever home.

The adoption fee for all cats and kittens is $190. This includes Microchip, FIV/FeLV testing, all age-appropriate vaccinations, flea/ear mite treatment, deworming, and spay/neuter with our veterinarian. When adopted, our cats and kittens are healthy, to the best of our knowledge. Many of our rescued kitties were not cared for adequately in their previous lives and are in need of significant vet care when they come to us. Frequently, we spend much more per cat or kitten than is covered by the adoption fee. Because Little Buddies is a predominately volunteer organization, we rely on donations and adoption fees to cover our veterinary and pet care expenses. We adopt to those in Northern Virginia, as well the Maryland and Washington, DC area.
