Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hello! My name is Fenn and I am a super sweet boy that loves to soak up as much attention as possible. I came to the shelter back in October of 2024 and have been patiently waiting for my fur-ever home.
I love to go for long walks with the people I love, they say I`m really good on leash however there are times I may get a little to excited and will start to pull or jump up onto the person walking me. The volunteers at the shelter say I could walk forever if I was able to, however I do like to walk at my own pace because I do have to stop and sniff everything just to make sure it is up to my standards. You can`t blame a boy for needing to learn as much as he can about the environment around him. The best part of any outing is when they take me to the fenced in yard so I can play fetch! I love to chase the ball and make sure it knows it doesn`t have a chance getting away from me. I consider myself quite the pro when it comes to making sure the tennis balls don`t get that far. After i successfully stop the balls from getting to far away I always sprint to my human as fast as I can, I have made a game of seeing just how fast I can run and seeing if I`m able to beat my previous time. When I bring the ball back to my human they are so silly and always seem to let another one get away.
The staff have been doing a wonderful job teaching me my manners and say I am pretty great at sitting, laying down, and staying still. I love to work because the people around me give me lots of delicious treatos when I`m on my best behaviour. Sometimes I get so excited when I see my favourite people that I have to get up and say hello, the staff say I shouldn`t be doing this but I just want to give everyone a kiss to remind them just how much I love them. With how cute I am it is really easy to get the people around me to give me lots of belly rubs, which I really really love. I would lay on the ground all day if it meant I would get all the attention from the people I love so much.
I would love to find my forever home, hopefully sometime soon. If I had it up to me it would be with someone that could take me on lots of long walks as I love to explore and sniff everything when I`m out and about. I also keep hearing the staff say how much I would like camping, the word sounds a bit funny but they know me best so I would probably have the time of my life. I am not a big fan of sharing my attention and personally think another dog in the home wouldn`t do, I mea

Come into the Centre and if you see a pet you like, you are able to do a "Meet and Greet" with that pet. Spend some time in alone with the pet or take a dog out for a short walk. If you are still interested in adopting the pet you can meet with one of our Adoption Counsellors who will have you fill out and application and will ask you some questions about the environment in which you live. If you seem like a wonderful match and your envirnoment meets the needs of the pet then your application should be approved!
