My name is Bear!

Bear arrived skin and bones.. starving.. at our gate in Maricao Puerto Rico. I let her in and she made herself home here. She is now fat and happy. She is older though her age unknown. She is happy to be fed and likes the freedom an outdoor area provides. With shelter, food, water.. and a little attention she is happy. She is a bit overweight and I have not been able to transport her to a vet. I did have one vet visit and they told us she has heartworms. I have kept her on a a flea/tick/heart/worm prevention each month. She is good natured, never aggressive. We have to move and can not take her with us. We are looking for a home with a heart that can allow her to live out her years in peace (and well fed!). We need someone who can look after her yet at the same time she is very easy to care for. She just wants food, water and shelter. She does get spooked by thunder so it is good to have a fenced yard and shelter she can retreat to. She is a bubbly personality. Forever home w/ a heart
