My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mack is a 38-pound GSD mix born approx. May 2024. Not much is known about Mack besides that he came from a kill shelter in Arkansas. One of Mack’s cutest features are his large ears. Mack is a sweet puppy who loves attention and affection. He easily warms up to strangers and shows it by giving lots of kisses and wiggling his butt. Mack is extremely smart. He is potty trained and picking up on basic commands such as sit and lay down within a week of being at his foster home.

Mack does well with a schedule and routine. He is well-behaved in his kennel at night and while his foster family is working during the day (about 7-8 hours) without any accidents.

Mack loves to play with his resident adult male dog who is about 50 lbs. Mack has not met a cat before so we are not sure how he would react. Mack is still working on leash training and learning what it means to go for a walk but he does enjoy the scenery and the smells. Mack has yet to meet kids but we think with slow introductions he would love them. Mack has done well in the car and enjoys watching all the vehicles pass by. Mack doesn’t love baths but has been able to sit still for his foster parents while in the bath.

As a puppy, Mack loves to play but his favorite things are just exploring his environment, staying close with his humans and getting lots of belly rubs.
