My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

JOBINA NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!

Name: Jobina         Best Guess for Breed:  Terrier mix

Best Guess for Age:  5 years as of October 2024       SEX:  Female

Approximate Weight:  9.8 lbs

Gets Along With:   Other dogs! We haven't seen her with kids or cats but she can be tested if you have them.

Currently Living at:  Lucky Dog's South Carolina rescue campus. She needs a foster or adopter to secure her freedom ride to the DC area.

Jobina is Looking For:   Her forever family! Through no fault, this sweetie needs a new home. She's eager to once again have her own humans for sniffy walks and romps and all the adventures they can dream up - hey she may be 5 or so but small dogs' batteries last a LONG time and she's ready to go! Plus, at her size if there are giant obstacles in her path - hey, she's portable!

Most of all, she wants to be safe and loved for all her days. In exchange, she promises loyal companionship and adoring gazes. What do you say? Is there a Jobina-shaped gap in your lap and your life?

What My Foster Says About Me:   We will update this once this pup has arrived in the DC area and spent some time in foster care

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The adoption process begins when you submit an adoption application either online or at an adoption event. The individual responsible for the dog you are interested in adopting - a position we call the “adoption coordinator” - will then set up a time to discuss your application over the telephone. The adoption coordinator will check your vet reference to make sure all current and past pets were kept up-to-date with their shots and medical care. The adoption coordinator will also set up a home visit with one of our trained volunteers. That individual will come to your home to ensure that it is a safe environment, to confirm that everyone in the home is on board with adopting a dog, and to discuss any other questions you may have about dog adoption!

Go meet their pets

Our adoption events are held each weekend. A schedule of times and locations can be found at www.luckydoganimalrescue.org.
