CHAPPEL NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!

Name:  Chappel          Best Guess for Breed: Lab mix

Best Guess for Age:  1.5 years as of October 2024        SEX:  Female

Approximate Weight: 28 lbs

Gets Along With:    Other dogs! We haven't seen her with kids or cats but she can be tested if you have them.

Currently Living at:   DC area foster home

Chappel is Looking For:  Her forever home! This sweetie has all that young-dog energy and is eager to get her own humans for long sniffy walks, romps in the park, and lots of adventures. Making pup pals along the way is on her wish list too, along with getting to go to dog school so she can show how super smart she is.

But she's taking the long view here - what she really wants is to know she's safe and loved and under her roof for all her days. Always knowing where she belongs, who her people are. She has so much to give in exchange. Adoring gazes, tail wags, that steady, loyal companionship.

What do you say? Does Chappel get to spend her life by your side?

What My Foster Says About Me:   We will update this after she has spent more time with her foster

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The adoption process begins when you submit an adoption application either online or at an adoption event. The individual responsible for the dog you are interested in adopting - a position we call the “adoption coordinator” - will then set up a time to discuss your application over the telephone. The adoption coordinator will check your vet reference to make sure all current and past pets were kept up-to-date with their shots and medical care. The adoption coordinator will also set up a home visit with one of our trained volunteers. That individual will come to your home to ensure that it is a safe environment, to confirm that everyone in the home is on board with adopting a dog, and to discuss any other questions you may have about dog adoption!

Go meet their pets

Our adoption events are held each weekend. A schedule of times and locations can be found at www.luckydoganimalrescue.org.
