Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Peanut is a sweet and soft 1-year-old Hound Pitty mix with a big heart and a bit of spunk. Though she's still waiting to be spayed, she's already shown herself to be a staff favorite with her affectionate nature and playful energy. Peanut gets along well with other dogs but can be a bit of a resource guarder when it comes to food and toys, so she'd likely do best as the only pet in a home where she can get all the attention and love to herself. She's an excellent walker, pulling hardly at all on the leash, and enjoys her walks as a chance to bond. Peanut can be a little talkative when she's trying to get her way, but it's just part of her charming personality. Overall, she's a sweet, soft girl who loves to be around people and is sure to bring joy to any home that's ready to embrace her playful spirit.
Here are some notes from an overnight stay with a foster:
Peanut was a very good house guest! She had no accidents and seems housebroken. She was a bit scared coming to a new location and had her tail down and was on high alert when outside for the first day. She also slept the whole first day and didn't really perk up until the next day. She engaged in some play and was more snuggly. She didn't bark at a thing even though there were some strange noises going on outside the apartment! On leash she is very good, hardly pulls as her bio says. Didn't get the chance to see too many dogs outside but she didn't react when she saw a little chihuahua outside. I was also able to leave her alone for 30 minutes at a time twice and she was good for both of those times. Didn't see any resource guarding but I also knew to give her space. We engaged in some tug and she was fine. Overall, she was a 10/10! Her personality will definitely shine once she's fully comfortable :)
