My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

https://foha.org/pet/ellie2024-2/

Hi, I’m Ellie! 🐶

I’m a shepherd mix and still an older puppy, which means I’m curious about the world and learning what life has to offer. I came to FOHA with my sister, Alice, and now I’m ready to find a family of my own to love and grow with.

I absolutely adore being around people and other dogs—it’s my favorite thing! Sometimes, I get so excited that I forget my leash manners, but don’t worry—the awesome FOHA staff and volunteers are helping me practice. I’m getting the hang of it and will bring some great new skills to my forever home.

One of the highlights of my week is joining the doggy social play group. It’s a blast running around and making friends! If you’re looking for a sweet, playful pup who’s eager to learn and loves to snuggle, I could be the perfect match for you. Let’s meet soon—I can’t wait to make you smile! 🐾
