Weight: 14.6 lbs (as of 10/30/24)
Location: RI
This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped.
Looking for a gold medal pup that will make your heart do backflips? Look no further than the Gymnastics litter!
Meet Suni, proud member of the Gymnastics litter (7 puppies total, all available for adoption through SOS)! These pups are 3-month-old Mountain Cur mixes that will win you over with their cuteness. As you would expect with any puppies, these guys are playful, affectionate, outgoing, gentle, and quiet. They fill their days with many hobbies, including playing with toys and playing tug-o-war, but they also enjoy a healthy dose of lap time throughout the day.
Suni prefers to be with her people or with other dogs. She would love another canine companion. She is doing well with the cat in her foster home. Her housetraining is in progress and she's currently not a fan of the crate, but with some time and training she can improve. We strongly recommend that all of our puppies attend obedience training to develop confidence, socialize with other dogs, and build a bond with their human. Think Suni would make the perfect addition to your family? Fill out an application to let her know!
An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this.
Medical Note: A littermate of this dog is being treated/has been treated for demodectic mange, a non-contagious skin condition. As there is thought to potentially be a genetic component to predisposition to this condition, this dog has been preventatively treated though does not currently show any bald patches and/or thin fur in places. Please note that demodex can flare up in any dog in times of stress (e.g., transport, transition to a new home, change in food, etc.). As such, the adopter is advised to discuss this condition and best next steps with their veterinarian. SOS recommends that dogs with a history of demodectic mange be kept on regular NexGard or Bravecto for flea/tick prevention for at least 3 months after adoption for adults or until 18 months of age for puppies. Please see here for more information on demodectic mange, and talk with your Adoption Counselor about this condition. Please check with your vet if you have any questions or concerns about this medical history.

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
