My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lily and her three brothers were found at 6 weeks old huddled together and alone in a Queens backyard. Unfortunately, their mom never returned. A good Samaritan scooped them up and took them to one of our amazing foster homes.

She is very playful and curious, loves attention and is very affectionate. She loves the company of both people and other cats. She will cuddle on your lap and is a true sweetheart.
Lily is 7 months old, spayed, UTD on her shots, tested double negative for FELV & FIV and tested for all internal parasites. She is also microchipped.

Lily’s brothers have all found their forever home and now we are hoping to find one for her!

The applicant can fill out the application on site or at home and then email to us.

Additional adoption info

After an application is submitted, the applicant is run through the NYS Animal Abuse Registry, references including vet are checked and a home visit is required. There is also an adoption fee.

Go meet their pets

We hold our bi-monthly adoption events at Pets Supplies Plus located at 74-17 Grand Avenue, Maspeth, NY 11378 . There is free parking and it is close to many subway and bus lines.
Our events are usually held from 1-5:30.

More about this rescue

Timber's Legacy is an all volunteer 501c3 based in Glendale, Queens NY that is trying to help decrease the number of homeless cats and the euthanasia rate in our nation through rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming.
As members in excellent standing with NYC's Animal Care and Control's New Hope Program, many of our cats come from their "At Risk" list. We also rescue friendly strays and sometimes owner surrenders. About 25% of our cats are special needs.
All of our cats receive the very best of veterinary care.
