Say hello to Calvin!
Calvin came to us when he was no longer a good fit for his previous owners. Now, Calvin can't wait to find his forever family! Calvin is a love-bug! He enjoys cuddling and giving his slobbery kisses! Calvin enjoys chew toys. He can often be found laying in his bed, chewing on his favorite chew toy. Calvin is a very smart pup, and he learns quickly! Right now Calvin knows "sit" "down" and is working on "come". He learns best with treats as a reward. Calvin will need a patient home who understands he will need to continue his basic training and manners. We have not seen Calvin around other dogs. He would do best in a home without cats. Calvin previously lived with children.If Calvin is the pup for you please fill out an application for him today!

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Check out all of the pets on our website and or stop in to meet them at the shelter.

2.

Submit Application

Submit an adoption application and wait for an adoption counselor to contact you about your approval.

3.

Approve Application

Come in to meet the pet and make sure they are a good fit. If you have a dog in the home we require dog to dog meet and greets.

4.

Take the Pet Home

Once you have found the best fit you will take the pet home for a two week foster trial period.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

At the end of the two week period, come back into the shelter to finalize your adoption and enjoy your new best friend!

Shelter is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10-4:30. We also participate is various adoption events throughout the year.
