Looking for a brave and athletic companion? Then look no further than Simba, our pit-lab-chow mix! He was found tied to a fence, emaciated and sitting in his own urine. After giving him the medical treatment he needed and nurturing him back to health, Simba transformed into a stunning boy you see here! He is a blast of energy and loves to play, and is sure to keep you on your toes. He is a wonderful companion and has many years of love to give. Unfortunately, we don't know much about his history with other dogs, so he would do best in a home where he is the only dog. If you're ready for a big, goofy, and adorable addition to your family, come meet Simba today!

More about this rescue
Broken Souls Rescue and Recovery is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue facility located in Staten Island, NY. We rescue abused, abandoned, and neglected dogs of all breeds, including the bully breed who are arguably the most misunderstood breed of dogs. We rescue abused dogs abandoned on the streets and rehabilitate them by providing necessary medical care, training, and most importantly, the love and care needed to help them learn to trust again. Our goal is to give abused, traumatized, and neglected dogs a second chance to find love and security with humans who understand their needs.
