Hi, I'm Sam!

I'm a tiny ball of energy, always ready to pounce on a toy mouse or chase a laser dot. I love to play, and when I'm all tuckered out, there's nothing better than a good cuddle. I'm the bravest of my siblings - small but mighty and ready to take on the world! I've got lots of love to give and I can't wait to share it with my forever family. Adopt me and I promise to fill your life with purrs, headbutts, and endless entertainment.

Sam is a female 11 week old (born August 5/24) DSH tan tabby. She is up-to-date on vaccinations and will be part of MAR's Foster-to-Adopt program until she is spayed. Sam has been raised in a home with other cats and kids so would do well with either. Dogs will take a bit of time to acclimate to 🙂

Step 3: Landlord Check
Step 4: Vet Check
Step 5: Home Visit
Step 6: Adoption!

As we are a rescue group, we don't have a shelter, just loving foster homes throughout Muskoka. Please contact us to make an appointment to see an animal.

More about this rescue

We are a volunteer-based, donation-only service that provides adoption services for people who are looking for a new furry addition to their family. We also provide non-judgemental, supportive help for people who are surrendering their companion animals.

We provide free advice and suggestions to people who are experiencing issues with their pets, including but not limited to behavioural issues, training advice, surrender help, and much more: spay/neuter education, advice and referrals.

We have a screening process that includes an application, telephone screen and a home visit to make sure the people are "as good as they sound on the phone". We also contact their vet and do a reference check.

We are committed to helping people find homes for their pets because we care about our community and love animals.
