A Little Bit About Me

This former blue eyed Momma kitty has a serious look to her face but she is still just a young adult looking for a fun new family to give her a second chance at her forever home! Her babies that looked just liked her got adopted within a day of being available, and now it's her time to shine and be lathered in adoration and affection. She doesn't seem to care for other cats or dogs that she's met, maybe with some time she could be more open minded to friendly ones in an environment where she felt safe and comfortable. She would love to play and explore and bond with her new people.

More about this rescue

We are a group of people dedicated to rescuing dogs from crisis situations, some of which include euthanasia by animal shelters, neglect and other forms of abuse, or "free to a good home" ads, which result in dogs being bounced from one home to another, or being acquired by animal brokers ("bunchers") and sold to research laboratories where they are used for testing then discarded ("cruelty industries").

NBCR&P works primarily with 5 herding breeds, and herding breed mixes. On occasion, NBCR&P also rescues and places other breeds. We foster our dogs in a home environment, rather than a kennel, if at all possible. We take pride in our promise that at any time and for any reason in the dog's life, if the need arises, he or she has a safe place with us ("return to rescue" policy).
